Thirtnight of Fury June 1-30.

Those of you who go way back with Pacific Standard may remember our Fortnight of Fury, a promotion we ran just after we opened. During those two weeks, people who came to the bar each day and consumed our consumables were rewarded handsomely for their efforts. We've been feeling nostalgic for those days, and wanted to give our fine customers a new opportunity to achieve everlasting glory and less everlasting, but still solidly made, medium-sized dry goods. Behold:

THE THIRTNIGHT OF FURY
JUNE 1-30

Doctors report that one beer a day is as good for your heart as regular exercise, so we've created a month-long event in honor of that idea. Over the course of the thirty days of the month of June, come by the Standard and consume thirty different craft beers (we mean "different" in the sense of different brands; no just having thirty of the same beer). All who complete this task will be rewarded with a party on Thursday, July 9, at which beer shall be available for the cut-rate prices of $2 or $3 a pint, there will be ample food (pizza and such), and we will give away some of our new merchandise, and some rare beer, as well as two very grand prizes:

1. A fancy-pants dinner for two at one of our favorite craft beer and locally grown food places, The Farm on Adderley in Ditmas Park. (You have the dinner, bring us the receipt, and we'll reimburse you up to $140, which should get you a nice three-course meal plus beverages.)
2. A $100 gift certificate to Bierkraft in Park Slope. They have awesome beer, you have $100, enough said.

So gird yourselves and come by any time starting June 1 to get the Official Thirtnight of Fury Sheet, which your bartenders will stamp for each separate beer you have. Happy tasting, and may mighty Juno bless your endeavors.
