J.D. Salinger memorial reading of Franny on Tuesday.

From 6:30-8:30 pm or so on this coming Tuesday, the 9th, we'll be staging a marathon reading of Franny in the back room to celebrate J.D. Salinger (who, whatever snide things you might say about The Catcher in the Rye, was an enormously talented writer). (Zooey might follow if we have time, but no promises.) Come by to hear a great short novel, and sign up to read if you feel so inclined. We'll have the usual $3 pint specials too, so the novel should get better as it goes on. Just don't tell anybody anything.
