Psst...
In a couple hours we just might have a sneak preview of one of the two Speakeasy beers we're launching tomorrow. It would be worth stopping by at 8 or later.

Details on the Speakeasy launch Wednesday the 26th.
In late-breaking Pacific Standard news, we'll be hosting a launch of the fantastic but never-before-seen-in-New York City San Francisco brewery Speakeasy on Wednesday night. We'll have two beers, the Big Daddy IPA and the Prohibition, on tap all night for $1 off. The descriptions:
Speakeasy Prohibition Ale (San Francisco, CA; $6/16 oz). Speakeasy's signature beer is a defining American-style amber ale. It balances English caramel malts with three different varieties of bold Pacific Northwest hops, each added three times, including dry-hopping. 6.1% ABV.
Speakeasy Big Daddy IPA (San Francisco, CA; $6/16 oz). Big Daddy pours a pale color, with strong hop aromas. The taste is dry and crisp, with the emphasis on the bountiful additions of Pacific Northwest hops, though there's a subtle pale malt presence in the background. 6.5% ABV.
Come by to be one of the first New Yorkers to drink Speakeasy on tap. You won't be sorry, trust us.

Cigar City now in stock.
We now have our first-ever (and awesome) Florida beer, the incredibly highly rated and rare Cigar City Jai Alai IPA, on tap. To wit:
Cigar City Jai Alai IPA (Tampa, FL; $7/16 oz). Jai Alai IPA is a monster interpretation of an American IPA, equalling the ABV of some double IPAs. It uses six different hop varietals, blended at different IBUs in groups of three hops per addition. Jai Alai also features a sturdy caramel malt component which balances the beer. 7.5% ABV.

The massively important (and surely very enjoyable?) U.S.-Mexico World Cup qualifier in Mexico City is fast approaching. We'll have it (we get the Telemundo networks on our big screens) on Wednesday, August 12 at 4 pm, and will open a little early so everyone can get situated and get a drink before the game starts. You can settle in here starting at 3ish if you'd like.
