Bear Republic Racer X (Healdsburg, CA; $6/12 oz). This bold double IPA follows English brewing traditions, but with a California twist. Hops, hops, and more hops create a pungent aroma and bitter orange, pineapple and piney flavors, backed with a strong malt sweetness. 8.0% ABV.

We're also debuting Left Hand's Polestar Pilsner, which is lovely in its own right:

Left Hand Polestar Pilsner (Longmont, CO; $5/16 oz). This bright, refreshing German-style lager is crafted using traditional methods and ingredients. A zesty pilsner taste gives way to a dry, crisp finish, for an extremely drinkable lager experience. 5.0% ABV.
