We took matters into our own (and our carpenter friend Mike's) hands this week and finished all the plumbing this week except for one underbar sink and the gas lines. If our old plumber doesn't get in touch with us tomorrow, I've gotten the info for two others who could do that work very quickly. Our architect has been out this week, but the next time he's open we'll set up inspections.
Today, we're going to clean up the bar, build a little office for ourselves downstairs, take out a bunch of trash, and then maybe go to somebody's rooftop to watch the fireworks on the East River. I hope all of you have a great 4th. I swear we're almost there!
